Manchester Medical Services Launch Water Rescue Team

We are now delighted to announce the latest addition to these existing teams: our in Water Rescue Medics (WaRM) who are (as the name suggests) a team of experienced divers & P.A.D.I. instructors who also hold relevant dive medical skills meaning they can attend to & treat a casualty both in & on the water they have now come together to form these exciting new teams.

Manchester International Festival

Manchester International Festival is the world’s first festival of original, new work and special events and takes place in and around Manchester city centre.

The Festival launched in 2007 as an artist-led, commissioning festival presenting new works from across the spectrum of performing arts, music, visual arts and popular culture.

With a wide-ranging programme and more free events, the second Festival, taking place in July 2009, is designed to be exhilarating, thought provoking and welcoming to all.

Manchester Medical Services provide medical cover at Manchester City Football Club

On Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th of July Manchester Medical Services were proud to cover the two-day event to celebrate the launch of the new Manchester City football strip held on one of the large car parks at Manchester City Football Clubs home ground in Eastland's area of Manchester.

Manchester Medical Services at Old Trafford Football Ground

This last weekend (30th May 2009) saw the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (www.cftrust.org.uk) fundraising event take place at Wembley North, also known as Manchester United’s Old Trafford ground. FREE medical provision was provided of charge.

Haigh Hall Fireworks

This years annual bonfire and fireworks event at Haigh Hall welcomed Manchester Medical Services for the first time.

Drawing on our expertise and excellent working relationship with the health and safety management team Manchester Medical Services were asked to provide cover for 2,500 guests who braved the cold to watch the spectacular fireworks and try to keep warm around the bonfire.
