Due to our continuing expansion and recent appointment to some high profile events in the North West of England and across the U.K. Manchester Medical Services Limited are inviting interested and qualified individuals to submit their information to our recruitment manager to be considered for work on a self employed sub contractor basis.

To be considered for sub contract work you must hold a current HSE First Aid at Work (FAW) certificate as a minimum and ideally also hold current certificate's issued by a competent training provider in the following subject areas:

• Medical Gases (Oxygen and Entonox)
• Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Casualty handling

As a sub contractor you will be expected to provide your own extensive first aid kit and equipment bag, if the location you are covering warrants the use of further equipment and you are trained in it's use you may be supplied this equipment on a temporary basis.

We also have work readily available for NHS trained staff such as IHCD Technicians, Nurses, registered Paramedics and Doctors

Events we cover are varied and range from high profile & large capacity night clubs to large cycle races, pony clubs, concerts etc, you will ideally have a minimum of two years experience in a First Aid or Care capacity, applications from individuals who do not meet this criteria will be accepted for training positions only.

Uniform is supplied subject to an initial worked contract deposit and in return for your satisfactory completion of events you can look forward to receiving good rates of pay and on certain events meal allowance / sustenance and in certain circumstances travel expenses. As you will be a self employed contractor no holiday pay, overtime, bonus etc are available under the terms and conditions of our standard contract for services which you will be required to sign.
